At their meeting October 1, 2008, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors reviewed the
draft legislative program
for Albemarle County as compiled by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission.
Legislative Liaison David Blount
presented the draft and received suggestions from the Board. After some discussion about which Board members remained supportive of requesting legislative authority to levy a local sales tax to fund transportation needs, the Board approved the legislative program unanimously.
